Diagnostics

Diagnostic

Every repair starts here. We read your vehicle's computer with OEM-level scan platforms, then confirm the fault against the actual symptom on a road test, before we quote a thing. No guesswork, no clear-and-pray.

The work, in depth

What you’re actually paying for.

A flashing light on the dash is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Plenty of shops read a single code, sell you the part it points at, and hope it sticks. When it doesn't, you're back in the bay paying twice.

We work the other direction. We pull every code, study the live data, then reproduce the symptom on a road test to prove the cause before we ever write an estimate. You leave with a diagnostic report and a fixed-price quote, not a mystery.

Know the signs

Bring it in if you notice…

01

Check-engine light

Solid or flashing. Flashing means stop driving and call us today.

02

Rough idle or stalling

Shaking at a stop, hesitation, or it dies when you slow down.

03

Hard or no start

Cranks but won't catch, or nothing at all when you turn the key.

04

Drop in fuel economy

Same drive, more gas, usually a sensor reading the engine wrong.

05

A warning you don't recognize

Traction, ABS, airbag, or a message you've never seen before.

06

It failed inspection

Emissions or readiness-monitor failure. We'll find why and fix it.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises.

01

Book a diagnostic

Reserve a time online or by phone. We hold a bay so you're not waiting on the lot.

02

We diagnose & quote

Scan, live-data, road test, then a written, fixed-price quote. No surprises.

03

Approve & schedule

Green-light the work and pick a repair date. The diagnostic fee comes off the bill.

Straight pricing

No mystery on the invoice.

The diagnostic fee covers the technician time it takes to find the fault for certain, not a parts-counter guess. If you approve the repair, that fee comes straight off your bill.

Minutes60–90

What affects the price

  • Whether the fault is constant or intermittent (intermittents take longer to reproduce)
  • Number of systems involved: engine, transmission, electrical, network
  • Whether special factory tooling or a relearn procedure is required

Common questions

Good to know.

Still not sure? Give us a call at (508) 730-2282 and we’ll talk it through.

A free code read tells you which system threw a flag. It doesn't tell you the cause. That takes a technician, factory data, and a road test. We charge for that time, and we credit all of it back if you do the repair with us.

Always. You get a written report and a fixed-price quote before any repair work begins. Approve what you want, defer what you don't.

Yes, bring us the estimate. We'll verify the diagnosis against your actual vehicle and tell you straight whether it holds up.

We do. Our scan platforms cover domestic, European, and Asian makes, including hybrids, the same tooling the dealer uses.

Yes, we're ADAS-certified. We scan and diagnose faults in driver-assistance systems like lane-keep, blind-spot, forward-collision, and adaptive cruise, and we recalibrate the cameras and sensors when a repair calls for it.

Ready when you are

We’ll take it from here.

We start with a diagnostic to pinpoint the problem, then schedule any repairs once you've approved a written quote.
