Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Complete Auto Tech Center (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website, book an appointment, or subscribe to our newsletter. We keep the data we collect to a minimum, and we never sell it.

We collect two kinds of information:

• Information you give us. When you contact us by phone or email, you may share your name, contact details, and information about your vehicle. When you book an appointment on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, your vehicle’s year, make, and model, and any notes you add about the service you need. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this information to respond to you and to provide the service you asked for.
• Information collected automatically. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect standard usage data, such as the pages you view, your approximate location, device and browser type, and how you reached the site. When you submit a form, we also record your IP address and basic request details to keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.

We use Google Analytics, and only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. We do not use advertising cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused tool that confirms you are a real person rather than an automated bot. It may set a cookie and check signals from your browser and device, but it is not used to advertise to you or track you across other websites.

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your questions and service requests;
• schedule your appointment, send you a booking confirmation, and remind you before your visit;
• after a visit, follow up on the work and invite you to leave a review;
• send our newsletter and occasional offers, if you have opted in;
• operate, maintain, and improve this website;
• keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:

• Service providers who work on our behalf. We use Google for analytics and to host our contact list, SendGrid to deliver our emails (booking confirmations, reminders, the newsletter, and service follow-ups), and Cloudflare for the bot protection on our forms, which receives your IP address and browser signals when you submit one. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
• The Penacho family of businesses. Complete Auto Tech Center is part of the Penacho family of businesses, which also includes Mike’s Auto Body and All Day All Night Towing. When you book an appointment or subscribe, your contact details are added to a shared contact list we keep together. If you opt in to marketing, we and those businesses may send you the occasional reminder or offer. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required to comply with the law or to protect our rights.

If you opt in, we may send you our newsletter and occasional offers. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. Unsubscribing stops promotional messages; we may still send you messages about an appointment you have booked, such as a confirmation or reminder.

We keep the booking details you submit in our appointment system for as long as needed to provide the service and maintain our business records. Your entry on the shared contact list stays until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings.

You can decline analytics cookies, unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing completeautotechcenter@gmail.com. Residents of Massachusetts and other states may have additional rights under applicable law; contact us and we will honor any rights that apply to you.

This site embeds a Google Map and links to Google reviews and to the other businesses in our family. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Please review their policies when you use them.

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
